Judging Process

The MENA Banking Excellence Awards — Corporate & Investment are assessed by an independent panel of senior industry experts. No entries are judged by commercial partners, sponsors, or the awards organisers.

All financial data and client information submitted is treated in strict confidence and is not shared beyond the judging panel.

The Judging Panel

The 2026 judging panel is drawn from senior analysts at Celent and GlobalData, with oversight from MEED’s Content & Communities Director and GlobalData Editorial. Judges are bound by a non-disclosure agreement.

How entries are assessed

All entries are scored independently by each panel member.

Panel members do not communicate during the individual scoring phase.

 Scores are aggregated and discussed in a final panel moderation session.

Where entries are particularly close, a second review is conducted.

Winners are confirmed by the panel chair. The awards team does not influence the final outcome.

 All decisions are final. Individual scores are not shared with entrants.
